These Are A Few Of My Favorite Blogs

Hello bloggers and readers! Since we started this blog we have found ourselves really becoming avid blog readers. We like to check them pretty regularly, comment on posts, and gain inspiration. We decided to put together a little list of our favorite blogs for you to look over and read!

First up are Ashley’s go-to blogs. Fashion, food, and lifestyle! I love anything that is fun to look at – and these definitely fall under that category. These lovely ladies inspire everything from get-togethers with friends, the way I style my outfits, or some new-beauty trends.

Iowa Girl Eats – simple meals that are absolutely delish, fresh ingredients, and recreations of classics.

Noble Pig – the perfect blog to look at when you want to impress your family with your cooking skills

 

In addition to theses blogs, I love reading countless others. Photography and travel are becoming two of my new favorites. I also have truly enjoyed reading all of our new followers blogs. HAPPY Holidays!

The holidays are great! They can also be extremely stressful. While it is not possible for me to eliminate your stress I can offer you a place of refuge.

Enter Pharrell Williams. Not only is he one of my fave people he is also gorgeous,  an incredible musician, walking fashion inspiration and now instant smile provider. He recently released a 24 hour music video entitled “Happy” and while I have not watched it all I am working on it.

In short it is amazing.

So when the holiday stress or anytime stress seems to be bringing you down watch a few minutes of the video or a few hours and I promise you will feel better. Oh and there are amazing celebrity cameos and Pharrell dances through every hour, aka he’s in it 24 times!

AKA Reads

We both love to read!

Reading can be the perfect thing to do before you fall asleep at night, or the most amazing Sunday afternoon activity.

We are both currently re-reading the Harry Potter series, as we are both huge Harry Potter fans. It has been really fun to re-read and rediscover the series.  Its fun to find and discuss all the new links we’ve found and all the details we might have missed or forgotten since we were reading them as kids, as well as revisit some of the major differences between the books and movies.

Ashley is currently in a book club with one of our close friends and it has been a great way for them to read different styles of books and to keep each other motivated and on track with their reading. We thought it would be a fun idea to do with each other and anyone elsewho wants to join in!

So grab a book and a friend and spend some time away from a screen (as I type and you read via a screen). Its really nice to read for yourself, rather than school or work. It can be a free vacation and great for relaxation if you let it. Revisit old books like we are and keep fining new favorites!
